• Achieve multiple line layouts simply by entering plate height, plate width and the number of lines for the plate. The Autolayout software will complete the rest. Letter heights for individual lines may then be changed, as well as fixed margins for the entire plate.
• Extend-A-Plate upright engraving was included with 2.43 software after May 1988 versions.
• You can now engrave long plates 8" by 48" in an upright mode (instead of left sideways). Your system will do all layout and engraving calculations. Upright Extend-A-Plate in combination with the power of Autolayout will allow you to engrave 8x10 and 8x12 jobs with confidence and ease.
• Cutter down function has been improved. CUTTER DOWN key will drop the spindle assembly all the way down (full travel). Shift CUTTER DOWN will bring the spindle 3/4 travel as before. Used to facilitate the setting of pens with either the permanent pen or calligraphy kits.
• Extend a Plate Table - capable of holding 10.25 wide by any length.
• Simplified Arc Engraving. FIXED ARC - Inside or Outside diameter can now be selected when setting up a an arc job. Inner Diameter excludes the letter height while Outer Diameter includes the letter height, placing the letters within the circle you’ve created.
• JIGS - Jigs A and B are unprotected and can be set independently of each other. Allows for accurate setting of both jigs.
