We'll also turn on the laser and work with the following materials
- Wooden plaques, both particle and regular wood, using masking, painting, and vinyl logos and emblems. Learn the tricks for crisp, dark lettering, and for making gold and silver paints really bright. We'll use contours and blends in CorelDRAW to create a relief around our logos.
- Hard Surfaced materials such as ceramic tile, glass and marble. We'll be using mirrors, glass goblets and black marble, and show you how easy it is to put pictures and artwork on both. Forget about the wet newspaper myth, it's for beginners.
And the last part of the class will be on materials and jobs that you select. So bring some sample jobs that you have trouble with, or materials which create a major challenge.
And each class member will receive:
- Full-color binder with over 200+ PAGES of detailed notes on each session.
- CD with logos, squiggles, curly q's and hundreds of sample layouts to take home and practice what you've learned. Know Mr. ROMCAT? He's going home with you, also.
- Sample bags from some of the leading suppliers. If you're a supplier, here's a chance to get into these customers bag. Here's a list of suppliers who donated items for our sample bags:
- Each student will receive a color Laser Certificate that can proudly display at their shop.
- Continental breakfast, lunch and refreshments each day. We can also provide milk and cookies if needed.
Classes start at 8:30 on each day. Friday's class ends at 5:00. Saturday will end at 4:30.
Class tuition is $295 per person for customers who purchased their lasers and engravers from The Engravers Network. Tuition for other owners of lasers is $395 per person. Remember, this is a CorelDRAW class, so all owners are welcome. And remember, it's tax deductible.
Our instructions will be done mostly in CorelDRAW X3 & X4, but all versions from 9-12 will be available.
This is a first come first serve basis, so you'll need to reserve your seat as soon as possible. Note class must have a minimum of 8 registrants for class to make.
