Owners - Robert & Susan Hensley
Robert started in the awards industry as owner of Diamond Trophy in Nacogdoches, Texas in 1972. In 1982 Robert and Susan moved to Arlington. Later they bought an existing trophy company, and renamed it Arlington Awards. In 1988, Susan sold Arlington Awards. Robert worked for Dahlgren and it's distributors in several sales & managerial positions from 1987-1990. Today, Susan is the general manager of the Network, and Robert takes care of sales.
Company Information
In 1985, the Dahlgren Users Group for Dahlgren system owners was founded. The original intent was to provide information in an independent format for Dahlgren owners.
In 1988, the name was changed to The Network. For 11 years, the Network News was the sole source for independent information for the Dahlgren owner. As the nationwide service diminished for the Dahlgren owner, the Network began an aggressive commitment for providing parts and service for the Dahlgren engraver. Today, we are the largest stocking parts distribution and independent service center for Dahlgren parts in the nation.
In 1995, the Network became the Sales and Service center for the Western line of engravers, then in early 1998 a distributor for Universal Laser Systems.
In order to better service the needs of our customers, The Network added a new building in July 2004 that would give us a new training facility to teach our industry's much needed classes on engraving and CorelDRAW, as well as being able to have a larger demo room in which to display our products.
