Problem: Autofocus is off.
Solution: With Autofocus on, press Z button and let Auto focus adjust to piece. Then move the cursor to the Z POSITION and press SELECT. Using the focus tool, manually set the piece to the correct focus height.
Then press SELECT and move the cursor to SET FOCUAL LENGTH, and press SELECT. Move the cursor down to YES SAVE POSTITION. Press SELECT. This normally corrects the problem and AutoFocus should be correct. Press ESC to get back to READY.
If the Autofocus hits the top limit, then turn off Autofocus. Press the Z button and then use the cursor to get to REHOME Z. Press SELECT. Table will move to the bottom limits and the X & Y carriages will rehome also. Then place an object about 2" tall in the machine. Turn on Autofocus, and press the Z key.
When Autofocus stops, check the piece with the focus tool. If it is off do the following procedure to manually set the autofocus again as above.
