Your comuter is a critical component in the operation of the VersaLASER system. In fact, you cannot operate the VersaLASER if your computer is not connected, powered on, running Windows and running the Universal Control Panel (UCP) software.
Minimum Computer Requiremnts (User Supplied}
- 2.0 GHz processor
- Windows XP, Windows Vista*, or Windows 7
- 1 GB of RAM
- 40 GB hard drive (15 GB free space)
- CD-ROM driver/burner (DVD required for Corel X4)
- Mouse and keyboard
- Available USB 2.0 Hi-Speed compliant port only. Note: Some computer manufacturers' USB do not comply with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed standards. Confirm that your computer complies with USB 2.0 Hi-Speed by checking your computer manual, or visit www.usb.org.
- Computer speakers (optional)
- 600 DPI scanner (optional)
- Internet connection and e-mail address (recommended)
The VersaLASER system is not designed to run on the Macintosh Operating System without the use of a Windows operating system.
Also note: These are the minimum requirements for the Universal Interface. Be sure and verify that you meet the minimum requirements of other programs (i.e. CorelDRAW, Adobe, etc.)
