Computer & Facility Requirements - Vision Engravers

Computer Requirements
	■	256MB memory, monitor, keyboard, mouse, 20 MB hard drive, CD drive. While these are minimum for the engraving system, be sure and add more memory and a larger hard drive if you are using a scanner or other programs such as CorelDRAW. Also, make sure you add resources to make sure you can periodically backup your valuable data.
Operating System
	■	Windows 98, Windows ME, 2000,XP Home, XP Professional
Software
	■	Vision offers Vision Windows and VisionPRO which meet the needs of most engraving applications. These software packages will accept output from most software packages such as CorelDRAW and AutoCAD. With the new Series 3 controller, you can run direct from Engrave Direct from Vision™, Vision Pro, CorelDRAW™, EngraveLAB™, SignLAB™, CasMate™, FlexiSign™,DesignCAD™, AutoCAD™, Type 3™, Enroute™, MasterCam™ and many more!
Computer Interface
	■	A dedicated serial port is required. The Series 3 controller is network compatible with a Ethernet connection.
Electrical
	■	All engraving systems can run from 110V or 220V. This must be specified when ordering. Note: The Variable Speed High Frequency Direct Drive Spindle and the High-Frequency 100,000 RPM Spindle are 220V only
